Grapevine residents receive approximately 70 percent of their drinking water from the Trinity River Authority, which is supplied by Cedar Creek Reservoir and Richland Chambers Reservoir. Approximately 30 percent of our water comes from the City's water supply (Lake Grapevine). Lake Grapevine's normal conservation pool elevation is 535 feet. Irrigation or watering of any lawn or landscape is prohibited between the hours of 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. The City's Drought Contingency Plan Ordinance can be found in Chapter 25, Article V, Section 25-140 of the Code of Ordinances.
